Research Approach Quantitative Approach Research Design This research will be conducted via Survey Research specifically the Longitudinal survey design, where the researcher will collect data at different points in time so that changes over time can be measured. 2. To identify the degree of scaffolding that is needed by the students to complete a task.	2. How much scaffolding does the student need to complete a task?	Research Approach Qualitative Approach Research Design This research will be conducted via Survey Research specifically the Longitudinal survey design, where the researcher will collect data at different points in time so that changes over time can be measured. It will be a Panel study because the sample studied doesn’t change over the course of the study Research instrument       1.     Observational Scheme-because students will      be observed when they are completing the           task       2.     Standardized open-ended interview Data Analysis        1. The interview will be transcribed and will be          analysed thematically.
